Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 July 2026. This policy explains what Kitnax does — and does not — do with data when you use kitnax.com.
1. Who we are
Kitnax provides free browser-based utility tools. Operator details are listed on the Imprint page. For privacy questions, use the contact email shown there.
2. Core principle: processing in your browser
Tool inputs (text, images, files, tokens, SQL, etc.) are processed locally in your browser where the tool is designed that way. Kitnax does not operate user accounts and does not require signup. We do not run a backend that receives your tool payloads for formatting, encoding, or generation.
You remain responsible for what you paste or open in a tool (for example production secrets or personal data of third parties).
3. What we do not collect via the tools
- No Kitnax user accounts or login
- No intentional upload of tool content to Kitnax servers for processing
- No advertising trackers or analytics scripts on the site at the time of this policy
4. Data stored on your device
Favorites: If you star tools on the homepage, their IDs are saved in your browser’s localStorage (key kitnax-favorites). This stays on your device, is not synced by Kitnax, and can be cleared by clearing site data.
Some tools may keep temporary state only in memory for the session (for example editor contents). Closing the tab discards that state unless your browser restores it.
5. Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich (all-inkl.com), Germany. When you load kitnax.com, the host may process technical connection data typical for websites (for example IP address, time, requested URL, user agent) in server logs for security, abuse prevention, and operations. Retention follows the host’s configuration and applicable law. ALL-INKL acts as a processor for hosting; the operator named in the Imprint remains responsible under data-protection law.
Kitnax does not operate its own application backend or third-party product APIs that receive your tool inputs (no account API, no upload API for formatting/encoding). Tool logic runs in your browser. The only server requests from the tools themselves are loading the static site (and, on some pages, the CDN assets listed below).
6. Third-party resources loaded by the site
Some pages load assets from third-party CDNs. Those providers may process your IP address and related request metadata under their own policies. This is not a Kitnax “API” for your pasted content — only static scripts/fonts:

- unpkg — library used by the QR Code tool
Other assets (including a locally vendored SQL formatter) are served from kitnax.com itself. There is no advertising network, payment provider, or analytics service integrated at the time of this policy. If we add such services later, this policy will be updated before or when they go live.
7. Cookies
Kitnax does not set non-essential tracking cookies for advertising. Favorites use localStorage, not cookies. Essential technical storage required to deliver the site may still occur at the network or host level.
8. Legal bases (GDPR, where applicable)
- Art. 6(1)(b) — providing the website and tools you request
- Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests in secure, reliable hosting and abuse prevention
- Art. 6(1)(a) — only if we later ask for consent (for example optional analytics)
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law (including the GDPR), you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because tool content is not stored on Kitnax servers, many requests concern only hosting logs or correspondence you send us. Contact us via the Imprint email.
10. Children
Kitnax is not directed at children under 16. Do not use the service to submit children’s personal data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change accordingly.
